Cardinals Hire GM Josh Simons
Posted by: cardinals on 2010-05-18
After the previous GM of the Arizona Cardinals resigned, many people who qualified for the job applied. One that caught Arizona's attention was 18 year old Josh Simons. Josh is a young man coming out of high school to pursue his dream job in becoming a GM. Simons was a very talented athlete in high school and was actually offered full ride scholarships to play Division 1 football in many power houses such as Florida, USC, Wisconsin, and his local school, UNLV. Simons turned down the schooling offers to become GM of the Arizona Cardinals.
"I'm more than excited to continue this franchise and to lead it in the direction it belongs, back to the winning ways." said Simons during his press conference. Simons' was referred to being a 'mastermind' by his high school teachers and coaches. The people of Arizona have questioned the decision on hiring Simons as to him being too young and not knowing enough about the game of football. When Simons heard about this his response was simply, "I guess I will have to prove them wrong, and that, I know I can do."
